This deck project turned little-used yard space into a functional, family-friendly outdoor living area. A new door replaced a window providing access to the deck that includes attached stairs for safe, easy access to the backyard and LED lighting for evening gatherings. The new space provides a spot for grilling, relaxing, entertaining and enjoying a once-forgotten part of the yard.

This front entry trellis project adds several significant and much needed improvements to the home on which it was built. These improvements include constructing an aesthetically pleasing trellis that was part of the original house plan over a new front entrance walkway to provide definition, lighting and protection from the elements at the front door. It also includes replacing the uneven walkway and non-uniform stairs at the front door with a walkway from the circle drive to the house and a zero clearance entrance. Guests are now drawn to the now clearly defined front entrance, which is noticeable as the main entry way.
2020 NARI Contractor of the Year Award Winner
This award winning project is a one of a kind backyard escape. The entire structure was rebuilt with the exception of the roof over the screen porch. Featuring Trex decking and KeyLink cable railing for minimal maintenance, this outdoor living space has everything you need for relaxing, dining and entertaining. The screen porch has large screen panels to create an open feel, with reclaimed barn wood on the interior. Overhead heating elements and a fire table extend the usability of this space into the cooler months. Custom mahogany sliding doors save space and add a modern look. The deck framing was built with Trex Rain Escapes to create a dry space underneath. The dry storage area has more than enough room for outdoor toys and lawn furniture. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off before going into the hot tub or after long bike rides. This project won a 2020 NARI Contractor of the Year award for outdoor living spaces for our use of innovative materials and methods as well as creating a space that adds incredible value to the home.
